I wrote my first paid article in high school, and since then I've had my work appear in an array of outlets large and small. I've written mainly about politics, arts and culture, history, and technology, and have been both a beat reporter turning in several stories per day and a magazine writer who spends months on a piece. I've also contributed opinion and commentary in print and on air.
Marketing and Public Relations
Working in-house, independently, or at an agency, and for organizations that range from small non-profits to large universities, my philosophy of "doing well by doing good" and focusing on achieving measurable success for the organization I serve never changes. I have also done work for select private sector clients
Web Design and Management
A large part of all my communications activities have revolved around web design, construction, and management, including content creation, scheduling, and curation across all major social media platforms (X, Meta and Google properties, etc.), all while incorporating SEO best practices.
Multimedia Content
Auditory and visual content is vital to engage key audiences and make a message stick with them. Having an extensive background in film, television, theater, and radio, including as a writer, performer, director, and member of the production staff, I have a knack for creating multimedia content that represents quality and grabs attention no matter the budget.
